Becky Nasadowski is a designer, educator, and researcher at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Her work explores design’s complicity in various formations of violence within neoliberal social and physical landscapes. She designs and writes to frame, reframe, and disrupt existing narratives, and create new ones as needed.

Her interdisciplinary approach to design research draws from the fields of feminist theory, cultural studies, urban planning, and anthropology.
Becky Nasadowski holds an MFA from the multidisciplinary Design program at The University of Texas at Austin and a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She maintains an active professional design practice, collaborating with artists, activists, educational and cultural institutions, among others, and is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Art at UTC.
